Menopause Can Cause Sleep Disorders
What is menopause?
For most women over 40 years of age,there is a transition phase that lasts until your monthly periods stop. Until this point, your body produces a regular supply of hormones. Three important hormones your body produces are estrogen, progesterone and testosterone. Estrogen and progesterone help control the release of eggs. But as your egg supply depletes, your hormone levels may increase and decrease considerably and the mixture and amount of each hormone change significantly. Finally, your periods will gradually taper off and eventually stop. This is typically happens, but there are cases when a woman will reach menopause suddenly or prematurely. Some of the reasons for this include: a hysterectomy can cause sudden menopausal symptoms, if the ovaries are removed along with the uterus. chemotherapy and radiation therapy have also been known to start menopause early, only the symptoms may occur more gradually. Sometimes, a woman's ovaries stop releasing eggs and hormones, years too early. This may happen due to other medical problems.

To improve a good sleep:
- Daily exercise to blow off stress.

- Walk in the park doing slow deep breathing along the way, to calm the mind refresh the adrenals and relieve menopausal symptoms naturally. Hot flash can be viewed as a signal to slow down retreat and take time out for oneself.
- Do not eat heave foots 4 hours before go to bed especially meat, as the digestive process can cause insomnia and disrupt sleep late at night. Instead choose a light healthy snack, if you get the evening munches.
